As you have upgraded the system i must let you know that the application should be installed as per the clean installation of the operating system. As you might be using a downgraded version of the operating system and it may be that the application was able to work well but after upgradation all problems arised. So I would recommend you to run a clean installation.

A clean installation is nothing but installation of the operating system by formatting the system completely. This will result in occupancy of the newly installed operating system and then installation of all application with the related drivers will then correspond to the same as per the requirements of the system. It may be that the application may have some issues and it is unable to perform the action that needs to be implemented. It could be that the installer file of the application may have gone corrupt and hence it is not able to work out appropriately. You need to check out for the thing and then run a scan check for the same. You will get to know about the issue then and implement the change accordingly.
