How to speed up mac quickly

My laptop is working extremely slow. I have a mac net book with 1GB ram support. I found that 1gb ram is enough to run a computer with normal speed. then why does my computer works so slow. Except an antivirus application I did have anything in that. What are the quick steps by which I can make this system fast in working.

Do a widget register. Widgets are simple to forget about. On your system if you are adding a half-a-dozen immediately check them out and then absolutely forget that they exist after that, but a number of those widgets will keep running even when you are not using your dashboard. It is always better to maintain your widgets, like the rest of your digital life, stripped down to only what you are actually using.

Declutter your desktop. Windows users get pleasure from the comfort of having a small army of icons confusing up their desktop without any ill consequences. So Mac users aren’t so lucky. Each icon on your desktop is treated by OS X as its own window. Same goes for the items on your dock. And at the same time as having a handful of icons on your desktop almost certainly won’t make a noticeable collision on overall presentation, a full desktop will. Time to get those prearranged and off the desktop.

Maintain an eye on the movement of the Monitor. While this may sound like general, you would be astonished at how many little programs are eating up big large pieces of your memory. The enormous slowdown that encouraged your most current clean up was the result of a tiny little background submission. At the same time as you do not have a secure for the program, disabling did make available an simple secure for your system.

Turn off characteristic which you are not using. Keep it in mind that time last mechanism you turned on Bluetooth to get that picture off your mobile phone. Or that roommate that required to jack your signal via internet sharing. You have to keep in mind to turn them off. Take a pursue through your System Preferences and make sure everything you do not essentially use is disabled (but if you are not sure, and you cannot stress this enough, do not hinder it.

Remove the favorite or predilection panes which you are not using. All now and then you download programs that install favorite or predilection panes, and then forget all about them. The real trouble is that assortment of these will load in the background at startup. Fortunately it should be as simple as a right click to delete. If it’s not you can always manually delete them by going to / Library / PreferencePanes.
