Screen size reduced under virtualbox

Hello,

I installed XP in virtual box and it works well.

But I do not get the window to full screen windows and when I use the cmd + F for the zoom, I get the expansion of the page without having enlarged the Windows which is reduced Full page. How is it? Opinions are welcome.

Have you installed guest additions virtualbox ? The implications of this software are as limited as the imagination of the user. But there are cases where the installation may not look or feel exactly as you want.

The size of the window remains the same but I have black bands around ...

I had the same thing with the virtual machine of windows xp and then when I installed the Guest Additions for Windows, all is back to normal (good resolution and full screen) .

Once you've started your VM, you go into the menu "Devices / Install Guest Additions".

Windows will detect your CD inserted with additions to enable it to recognize among other things, change the window size and resize accordingly.

Yes I need to work full screen, the page looks like a windows format 10 inches at the center of the screen is too small. The problem is solved.
I made a right-click the Windows desktop -> display properties -> screen resolution ... I ran the cursor to the right on 1600x1200 and screen appears full screen. Initially the cursor was entirely left on resolution 800x600.
