Zune 4.0 issues under Windows 7

Hello. I have a desktop machine with Windows 7 installed as the operating system in it. I have installed Zune 4.0 on my system but whenever I execute the same it shows the error as to install Windows installer. What could be the problem. Please help me out so that I can work out with the same. Hope to get a solution with the same. Thank you.

There could be the problem related to the thing that is you might have upgraded the system from the previous pack to Windows 7. It is essential that you need to make the thing to work out by running a clean install of the operating system. You need to format the system and then reinstall the operating system completely again with no upgradation.

* Click Start button
* Now type services.msc in the search box and hit enter.
* No right click on the windows installer from services(local) list.
* Click on the properties.
* Now modify the startup type to automatic.
* Change if the process is been stopped to start

Now after it is been done update the Zune.

You can make the things to work out by making a clean boot.

1) Click on the start button.
2) Now type msconfig in the search box and enter.
3) Under the selective startup tab choose Hide all Microsoft services.
4) Disable the services.
5) Restart the system.

It would be that the application that is been installed may have certain issue appended to it and this is the reason that it is unable to work out for you. There is a possibility that the installer file or the application may have some bugs that may be creating the problem for the same. It may be that the system file related to the Windows installer needs to be installed. So check out.

b) Go to the control panel option.

d) Select the application and then click on remove button.
