| MS-DOS 6.22 and new hardware
Will MS-DOS 6.22 run as a standalone on any of the newer 32 bit hardware?What might be its limitations? Thanks, Terry |

Hello there, I do not think that MS-DOS 6.22 can be installed as a stand alone OS. You will have to install Windows 95 or Windows 98 for this purpose, since it comes along only with these 2 operating systems of Microsoft. Windows ME has MS-DOS 8.0 along with it. |

MS DOS is actually an application program that supports the operating system. It is quite impossible or you may next to impossible to make the DOS program to execute stand alone. |
