HELP: how to install new OS on a CD/DVD-less netbook???

I have a Dell Inspiron 910 (Mini 9) netbook. It didn't come with any CDs and does not have a CD-ROM drive. It came with Windows XP SP3 pre-installed. My netbook is so slow now and probably has lots of malware, spyware on it. I want to re-format and re-install Windows XP from scratch, possibly SP2 since it'll be faster than SP3.

Let's say I have a Windows XP CD from my other Dell PC... how can I install Windows XP onto a CD-less netbook? Or how can I install Linux/Ubuntu on this CD-less netbook?

You can install windows xp SP2 from pendrive, if you don't have a CD rom and in the same manner you can install Linux/Ubuntu. See the following threads, which will guide you for installation :
