    Windows 7 upgrade features

Is there a difference between the upgrade and the full product. If yes then what is the difference. How can I determine that. Should I get Windows 7 on a new PC, or upgrade the one I have. Also is ti possible that I can have a upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7. Can I upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and which edition of Windows 7 is right for me. How to find out that.
