USB phone unable to connect to Skype in Windows 7

Hello. I have been using Windows 7 as the operating system installed on my desktop machine. The problem is that I am not able to connect my USB phone to the system in order to get it connected to the Skype. I do not know what could be the problem that is been causing this issue. Please help me out so that I could get a solution for the thing. Thank you.

The compatibility issue is the big thing that may lead you to go through such issue. You need to check the compatibility for the phone under Windows 7. Contact to the manufacturer for the same. There is an alternative to get the things to get worked with. You need to work it as Administrator.

* Right click on the driver installation file.
* Choose Properties.
* Now Click on the Compatibility tab.
* After it is been done select Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows Vista Service Pack 2 below.
* Check the Run this program as administrator box under Privilege Level.
* Click OK to save the settings.

Run a clean boot in order to lower the enabled features in Windows 7. This should help you out.

1) Click on start button.
2) Type msconfig in the search box and hit enter.
3) Now under the selective startup choose Hide all Microsoft services.
4) Disable the services.
5) Restart the system.
