    The compatibility issue is the big thing that may lead you to go through such issue. You need to check the compatibility for the phone under Windows 7. Contact to the manufacturer for the same. You may get the required utility disc driver for the same. Also you need to upgrade the version for your Skype tool in order to make the things to work in possible conditions.

    Use safe mode option in order to get the things to get worked. A safe mode is generally a mode through which you can get the application to work with do not support high features. Safe mode has low features and hence it works under the same. This may generally allow you to access the thing if the issue is related with the operating system. So do look out for the solution.

    There is an alternative to get the things to get worked with. You need to work it as Administrator.

    * Right click on the driver installation file.
    * Choose Properties.
    * Now Click on the Compatibility tab.
    * After it is been done select Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows Vista Service Pack 2 below.
    * Check the Run this program as administrator box under Privilege Level.

    Run a clean boot in order to lower the enabled features in Windows 7. This should help you out.

    1) Click on start button.
    2) Type msconfig in the search box and hit enter.
    3) Now under the selective startup choose Hide all Microsoft services.
    4) Disable the services.
    5) Restart the system.

    This should help.
