Whether you are running Windows XP or Vista, there is an effective way to control the different applications that launch when Windows starts. Rather than go digging in the registry, try MSConfig. Begin by simultaneously press the Windows key and R. in the window that appears, enter msconfig. Under Vista, confirm the UAC warning and you will see on-screen tool that will help you to sort the applications. That is called as startup.

In Word, insert a watermark image is easy, since we know how. In your document, start by inserting a normal image. By double clicking on image then you will have access to their properties. Then you only have to make two changes. In the Layout tab, choose Behind Text. In the Color tab, choose Watermark. The image is then passed behind the text, while the watermark option made light colors so that the text itself remains visible.

In Windows XP or Vista, pressing SHIFT while you right click in Explorer you will have access to additional functions. In Vista, for example, right-click a file gives this. Holding down SHIFT while you did the right click, two more actions appear. These actions do not serve everyone, but those who need it more quickly can not do without.

Yes that is right. By pressing the shift button and then you receive two more options of New and Read only. But this is applicable to office documents only. If the same you do on other program nothing will happen. By this you can run a read only file or create a new document instantly. The same is applicable for Microsoft Office Documents.

You must click on the tab Startup. It belongs to you then uncheck the boxes of applications that you no longer want to see start at boot time. If you think a name unknown, do not the devil and leave him in peace. This will allow you in most cases to remove the resident modules that load at startup and sometimes considerably lengthen the launch of Windows.
