Not able to install GuardPlus in Windows 7

I am not able to install GuardPlus in Windows 7. Many of my friends suggested that this is a very good software that secures files with many other additional advantages. The problem is that when I start the installation, I get an error saying "This setup is not made for this operating system". If anyone knows how to get rid of this problem, please help me with some solutions as soon as possible.

Just have a look at the system requirements of GuardPlus and you will know why you are not able to install GuardPlus in Windows 7:

• Windows 95
• Windows 98
• Windows XP

There are no additional requirements for using this software, but as you can see it does not support Windows 7 operating system is the main reason of the problem.

If you are not able to install GuardPlus in Windows 7, then this is an incompatibility issue. Use the hardware and software evaluation tool to find the incompatibilities in your system. After you have found the incompatibilities in your system, you just have to search the internet for the alternatives and complements that are available in the market. This will solve your problem.

Use any of the following alternatives if you are not able to install GuardPlus in Windows 7:

1. kmAnywhere 2005 Std build 09.27
2. FastSeek 2
3. Gili File Lock Pro 4.1
4. Gili Exe Lock 1.5.4

They will probably work fine in Windows 7.

Use the compatibility troubleshoot option if you are not able to install GuardPlus in Windows 7. This option sets the operating system in the compatibility mode for any applications and programs that are finding such problems in the operating system. This option can be seen as when you right-click on the icon of the particular application or program.

Windows 7 has such incompatibility problems like not able to install GuardPlus in Windows 7. This is why I advise everyone to quit upgradation to Windows 7. It had more or less the same features as Windows Vista, so i suggest you to use Vista and it does not have such incompatibility problems also. Another reason is that Windows 7 is expensive as compared to any other operating system available in the market.
