Does IconoMaker work in Windows 7 or not

IconoMaker is a software that helps to edit the default icons that are in the operating system. I am using Windows Vista operating system and I am going to upgrade it to Windows 7. So, I need to know that does IconoMaker work in Windows 7 or not? If not, is it possible to use some software or technique to make it run in Windows 7? All possible replies and suggestions are appreciated.

Re: Does IconoMaker work in Windows 7 or not

IconoMaker works fine in Windows 7 and I can assure you this since, I am using the same in my system. But even if you have problems running it, then I guess that you will be using an old version of the software. Use the latest version to make it work in Windows 7. The "run as administrator" option helps to force any particular application or program to run in Windows 7. Try using this alternative too.

Re: Does IconoMaker work in Windows 7 or not

If you are finding that IconoMaker does not work in Windows 7, then it may be incompatible with the operating system. Windows 7 has many such incompatibility issues. So, it is advised to keep 2 operating systems installed in the computer, when you are using Windows 7. So, the computer becomes a dual boot system. You will just have to install the other operating system in another drive in your computer. I suggest you to keep Windows Vista as the other operating system in your computer.
