WINDOWS 7 Installation error in HP DV6000

Hello, I am using Windows xp operating system on my Laptop HP DV6000 and now I want to install the windows 7 on it. But, I am not able to install the Windows 7 on my Laptop. It is giving me error of the installation. Why did I am getting this error? Can anyone tell me how to install the Windows 7 on HP DV6000? How to solve the WINDOWS 7 Installation error in HP DV6000?

Hello, I think you are not having proper DVD to install the Windows 7 on your Laptop HP DV6000 and that is why you are not able to install the Windows 7 on your laptop. So, just check the DVD which you are using is bootable to install the Windows 7 and then try again. It is needed to check that your are using Bootable Dvd to install your Windows 7 or not. It may be possible that you are not having the required dvd and that is why it is giving you the problem of installation. So, try to install WINDOWS 7 on other computer with the same cd and then check whether that dvd is working or not.

You need to check your all the peripherals. As there may be possibility that your drive not working or your DVD is not of the Windows 7 or other problems. You need to check your all of the requirements also for the Windows 7. There may be possibility that you are not fulfilling the requirement of the Windows 7 and that is why you are getting the error of installation.
