Problem with Second HDD after installing Windows 7

Okay I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my system. And the installation was done fine, without any problem.
Well I have like 2 Hard Drives one of 500 GB connected to SATA and other of 300 GB connected to IDE(Controller Raid Card). Now the problem is that I can't see IDE Hard Drive when I open My Computer. I cannot see the 300 GB Hard Drive now. I can see both the HDD's in Device Manager after I click on the '+' sign.
What is wrong over here. Is my second HDD not compatible.?

There might be some compatibility issue over here. Have you installed all the required drivers for your system.?
And when you open Device Manager what exactly do you see in the list.
Try to do this : Open Disk Management and check if the partition on the drive has or have been assigned a letter.

I don't think there is any issue with the drivers. Because I can see the DVD-writer icon in My computer and was able to use a DVD also without any problem. And that DVD-writer is also connected to Controller Raid Card, then why can't I see my second HDD.
The the controller raid card has two ports, blue and white. I have connected the Blue Port to IDE HDD and White to IDE DVD-Writer.

Well what happens is when you installed Windows 7 there must of been some boot files on your other drive from Vista.
Because windows 7 has a hidden boot partition called System Reserved so it hasn't gave you drive a letter.
