The problem now is that repair PDF File not working in Windows 7. The installation was proper, but when I am trying to start the program, its simply not running. Is this some genuine problem? Is there some other software that i can use to repair PDF documents in Windows 7?

Re: Repair PDF File not working in Windows 7

The Repair PDF File is not working in Windows 7 because it is not compatible in Windows 7. It supports only Windows XP operating system. Its additional requirements are Pentium II 400 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 10 MB hard disk space. I guess that you will have to use some other software to repair the PDF files in Windows 7, since such types of incompatibilities are the main problem in Windows 7.

Re: Repair PDF File not working in Windows 7

It is recommended not to upgrade to Windows 7 because of such problems like Repair PDF File not working in Windows 7. Here are the reasons:
    • Windows 7 is very much similar to Windows Vista.
    • It is too costly than the other operating systems.
    • Windows 7 is built on the same old infrastructure.
    • There are no problems with XP and Vista, then why upgrade to Windows 7.
    • Upgrading from Windows XP need a clean install.
    • All the operating systems of Windows act as a closed system.

There are no problems like Repair PDF File not working in Windows 7. I can assure you this, since I use the same in my system with Windows 7. May be there has been some error during the installation of the software. You simply need to uninstall the software and then, restart the system. After that, do the re-installation, without any other application running in the background. Your problem will be hopefully solved.

    Hello Enriquee,

    Have you checked compatibility?
    Just an FYI for you.

It is always best to check with the software manufacturer FIRST. They will tell you if they have tested the product and the version, as well as whether or not it will work with Windows 7.
Check out the Windows 7 Compatibility site: (There you will find out about hardware and software compatibility.)
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...s/default.aspx
There is a pulldown from which you can choose "hardware" and "software".

There are also some great articles, instructional videos and such to help with your Windows 7 at our Springboard site:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/default.aspx

In any event a lot of the times, Vista drivers will work in lieu of Windows 7 drivers, however, it's not 100%!

As stated previously, it's best to have the Windows 7 certified drivers installed.
    Thanks again,
    John M.
