    qttask.exe - No Disk error

Whenever I log in to my Windows xp operating system I got the error as follows:
    qttask.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR2

What does this message mean? It is needed to click on cancel at least 6 times to remove this message. How to solve this error?

I think this can be virus problem. You need to scan your whole computer and search for the qttask.exe file and scan that file for the virus or any infection by other types such as malware or backdoor. You need to have updated your antivirus software first if you want to scan your computer. So, just scan for the virus and if you find then clean that.

I think you are not getting any problem other than the error message at start up. So, just follow the steps below and simply remove message from the start up:
    • Click on start and then on run.
    • Now type the command as msconfig and then press enter.
    • Now you need to click on Start Up tab
    • If you find the entry from this file then simply uncheck it.
    • Now restart your system.
    • You will get the warning which you need to remove by clicking on OK.
    • Done.

You need to check that is it a virus or not with the help of any antivirus software as below:
    • AVG Anti-Virus
    • Avast! Home Edition
    • BitDefender Free Edition
    • Kaspersky Anti-Virus
    • Quick Heal AntiVirus

If this is virus file then one of this will help you to remove that from your computer. So, try it.
