Hello Friends, I have a small problem in the Windows 7 which i am unable to sort because i am new to the Windows 7 as i was using the Windows XP before. So i think that i have missed an operating system in between that is Vista and jumped directly to the Windows 7 from XP. My problem is that i want to remove the printer driver in the it which i don't want to use and by mistake installed in the system. So need your help to solve this issue. Hey, Removing this will affect the printer if you have one so decide that you really want to delete the printer and then proceed with it. So to remove the same you have to follow the procedure given below that will guide you for the same. So follow these.
  • Click on the start
  • Go to the Control Panel
  • Double Click on the Printer and Fax Services
  • After that go to the Driver tab
  • There you will find the printer click on that
  • And you will notice "Remove" button
  • Clicking on that will remove the printer driver.
Thats it!!!!!!

If you completely remove the printer driver from your PC then i will suggest you to make this with the following method which is really delete the same from your system permanently. So try this out and see the result.
  • Restart the computer as the Administrator
  • Now go to the Start menu
  • Type the MMC in the Search
  • This will open the Microsoft Management Console shortcut on the start menu
  • Select the Add/Remove from the file menu
  • Scroll down to the "Print Management"
  • Select the driver from the lost and select the "Remove Driver Package".
  • After that restart your PC and its done

Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. This also helpful for removing other product too.
