How to delete internet explorer in Windows 7?

Hello, I am having a problem that i am unable to solve as i am new to the computer so help to get rid of the same. I have installed the Mozilla Firefox in my system but whenever i am opening any thing it will shows the default browser as the Internet Explorer which is irritating me so tell me how to remove the Internet Explorer from the system. I am using Windows 7 for the desktop computer. Any help may be appreciated.

If you want to delete the Internet Explorer form you system then first decide that you don't need this anymore or require in the feature. If you decided the go to the do the following to remove the same. This will be helpful to delete the same.

• Click on the start
• Go to the control panel
• The click on the Add/Remove program
• Then look for the Internet Explorer and click on the remove
• This will remove the same.

Hey why you want to remove it when you can disable it form the system. Disabling of the system will not use it afterward.Go to the control panel and then to the "program and feature". Here you will find a link i.e. Turn off windows feature click on it. A windows will appear which shows lots option go to the Internet Explorer and uncheck it, Click on OK. System will ask you to restart to take a effect of change made. Restart the system and its done. Thanks
