I think that you are not able to create the system restore point properly or you stop the process before it is finished so follow the instructions below to create a restore point manually #Go to the Start menu. #Select All Programs then goto Accessories. #Then System Tools > System Restore. #Select Create a restore point and click Next. #Give name to that restore point. #Now click on create. let the process end Automatically do not interrupt before it gets completed. |

I think you have not understood my question properly because i have not asked you the process to create a system retore point as i know it very well. Although i created a system restore point as per your instructions and also waited for the process to get completed automatically. But this also does not helps me. Any way thank you for replying |

| Re: Windows 7 Ultimate System Restore problems
The problem here is somewhat related to disk space i think your harddisk does not have the minimum space required for the creation of a system restore point. Since you did not specify how big your Windows disk is, I can't speculate the Actual reason behind your problem. In your future replies please specify that. |

| Re: Windows 7 Ultimate System Restore problems
If you are facing this problem due to the disk allocation issue of the system restore. By default, 4% of your system disk's space is allocated to the System Restore. Because you have not specified how big your Windows disk is, that's why i can't speculate on what percentage of your system partition or drive the 4GB represents. |
