    Windows 7 BSOD sis163u.sys

I am using Windows 7 and all of a sudden I am continously getting blue screen of death with sis163u.sys after every 30-40 minutes of internet surfing. I have a USB wifi controller and I have installed the correct driver for it as well. Below I am pasting out the minidump results that might help you analyze this issue:

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000004f, memory referenced
    Arg2: 00000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 00000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: 91e1b66a, address which referenced memory
I may b a dreamer, but I'm not the only one

    Re: Windows 7 BSOD sis163u.sys

The file that you have mentioned sis163u.sys is related to SiS163 USB Wireless LAN Adapter Driver from Silicon Integrated Systems. First what you can do is try uninstalling the device from your pc and install the latest or current version of the drivers from their manufacturer website. You can also use the compatibility wizard while installing the drivers and install them as Vista and to Run as administrator if they are not listed in compatibility mode.

    AMD 64 x2 4800+
    OCZ (2 x 512) DDR600

You could try to download and run memtest86 and can also try to run a system file check in command prompt. Just click on start then run and then type cmd. Afterwards right click and run as administrator and do a sfc /scannow. Hope that helps

Download the driver for your device from here: http://www.sis.com/download/download....php?id=155939

After installing the driver, restart your pc. Also try to update routers firmware if possible cause I had a similar problem with linksys routers and one Dell Router. Did you try to use a encryption stronger that the Wep 64bit cause some of the users have encryption like WPA/WPA2 TKIP or AES?
