Screensaver issues with windows 7

Hi. I use a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7 as the operating system. The problem I am facing is that the screen saver of my system is not working or functioning properly. The system been idle for sometime but no screen saver comes up automatically. What could be the reason? Please help me out. Thank you.

The problem could well being with the settings that is been assigned in the property menu. You need to check out for the issue by changing the settings from the property menu. Follow the steps as follows:

1) Go to the desktop.
2) Right click on the open desktop.
3) Click on properties.
4) Select the Screen saver tab.
5) Choose the time limit to the given option in order to make the screen saver to work when the system been idle.
6) Click apply and then Ok.
7) Restart the system.

This shall make your screen saver to work.

You need to make sure that your system is not been plugged with any external device such as pen drives or mobile phones or portable hard disk drive. This is because there may be a possibility that they may be functioning and carrying out some process due to which it is quite not possible for the system to be idle. It may be that the screen saver may not be installed or initialized on your system. You need to turn it on y following the process as folows:

1) Go to start button and click on it.
2) Go to control panel.
3) Type Screen saver in the search box and hit enter.
4) Now turn on the screen saver by clicking on the button.

* Double click on the Power option icon.

Such issue are basically associated with windows problems. It might be that you may be using wireless mouse or keyboard. This does happen when you use such devices. as wireless device do not fixup or stay steady, Due to this the system is never idle. So it all on the elementary fault or you can say a device issue due to which your screen saver i not function under windows 7. Switch of the device and then check out. This may enable the screen saver to work.
