| Windows 7 is not detecting nVidia GeForce 9500GT
I have recently upgraded my operating system to Windows 7 wherein I have already started encountering problems. Windows 7 is not detecting nVidia GeForce 9500GT. When I start the installation, it is giving me the error as "NO HARDWARE FOUND RELATED TO THIS DRIVER". The operating system is not adding or detecting it with the help of manual add or delete technique. I need help related to this topic, please reply. My system and processor configuration is Intel Core2Duo CPU E7400 @ 2.80GHz 2.79GHz ,4GB RAM. Last edited by Carlos16 : 17-12-2009 at 05:22 AM. |

I suppose that the driver that you must have downloaded is not a proper one. This is the reason why Windows 7 is not detecting nVidia GeForce 9500GT. Always download the contents like applications and drives from the official site of the manufacturer because they are genuine. That is why they are the best source. The driver sites that are secondary should not be preferably used as those links are mostly posted by common users. This is a commonly seen problem. |

If Windows 7 is not detecting nVidia GeForce 9500GT, then it is an operating system related issue. This is because Windows 7 is not compatible with many of the softwares and applications that were supported in the older versions of Windows. Run the full hardware evaluation program and it will let you know that what all components are not compatible with Windows 7. Then, search on the web for complements that are available for the non-compatible components. |

Windows 7 not detecting nVidia GeForce 9500GT is totally a compatible-related issue. Those programs that do not run on Windows 7 run smoothly on Windows XP as well as Windows Vista. So, I suggest you to create a DUAL BOOT menu from where you can switch onto a different operating system for running the programs that cannot be executed on Windows 7. I have myself done the same setup on my system for incompatible programs with Windows 7. |

Hello there, you have mentioned your problem as Windows 7 is not detecting nVidia GeForce 9500GT. This a very typical problem and my system too had such a problem when Windows 7 was installed on it. I had used a suitable technique of using Windows XP for these incompatible programs. I had made a setup that could virtually load Windows XP as and when I want to run the incompatible programs. So, this is how basically your problem can be solved. |

I suppose that the DEVICE MANAGER would help in such case where in Windows 7 is not detecting nVidia GeForce 9500GT. Just check for what has been enumerated for the current display in the device manager. If still you cant get any help, then I guess that it is the driver that is creating the issue. Check by installing a new setup of the driver, may be that will solve your problem. |
