    kindle instruction manual

    Hi, I am recently purchased a new kindle which very good for reading news electronic books reading device. I want to use web on kindle but cannot able to access it. Even I don't how it is works, can you tell me how it's its operating system to use. Specially for web.

    Kindle has an application called Basic web. Basic web supports JavaScript, SSL and cookies.
    Three modes for open web browser.

    1. basic web from screen
    Select a link from a screen to open a basic web.
    If you select basic web then it directly goes to the last URL.

    2. Type word
    You can type a word any time in the news paper or magazine. At time of typing search box will pop up. You can select a search for Google or Wikipedia directly.

    3. Enter a URL
    Move the 5 way controller to the top of the screen or Select Enter URL option from the menu. Press the %-way controller to see the web site.

    Bookmarks:

    You quickly access the page without typing every time in the address text box. At the time of opening the basic web it shows you the default bookmarks. You access the list bookmarks from selecting bookmarks option from the menu. To bookmark the site just press the menu and menu show option bookmark. And press the 5-way controller to add this page.
    You also remove the bookmarks from the list you have to move only just 5-way controller on the bookmarked site and select the delete option, and the side is deleted.

    You can register your kindle.
    follow this instructions

    Press home button if you not on the home screen
    Press menu, don't forget to on whispernet.
    Move 5-way controller down to select settings.
    Select register by the 5-way controller.
    Now enter your Amazon User ID and password.
    Now select "ok" for registration or cancel to exit.

    You can personalized your kindle.

    Registered name is required for personalized a kindle. you can also edit this name by do this instructions.

    Press home button if you not on the home screen
    Press menu.
    Move 5-way controller down to select settings.
    Select edit name by the 5-way controller.
    press 5-way controller to write in a text box.
    To change the device name you can edit by use key board.

    Now select "Select" for fro editing your name or cancel to exit.
    New name is entered

    Select primary dictionary
    You keep you selected dictionary what you want use. Kindle having by default new oxford american dictionary, but you replace buying other dictionary.
    To change dictionary follow the instruction.
    Press home button if you not on the home screen
    Press menu.
    Move 5-way controller down to select settings.
    Select edit name by the 5-way controller.
    press 5-way controller to write in a text box.
    Select 5-way controller to select change primary dictionary
    To change the device name you can edit by use key board.
    Now select "Use" for using dictionary.
