Cant find Sleep button in Windows 7

Hey i have got a issue in the Windows 7 Operating system. I am unable to get the sleep button, I have checked the whole registry but could not fine the sleep button working. I know that it somewhere in my computer but still i am not getting it. So can any one help me it. Any help may be appreciated with the thanks. Waiting for the reply. Thanks in advance.

To look for that you have to do the following which will help you to describe the setting regarding the Sleep button
  • Click on the Start
  • Go to the Control Panel
  • Jump to the Power Options
  • Choose the Change plan settings.
  • Choose Change advanced power settings.
  • Click on the Change settings
  • Now set the Sleep button action under Power button
  • Click on the ok and save the setting

Are you using any USB during the use of the sleep mode because i am having the same problem when i am using the Windows vista as my operating system in my computer. I was suggested not use the us USB drive at that time i did that and it work for me so i am hoping same for you to. Try this and let me know the same. Thanks n regard

It could be the problem with the BIOS with the suspend ACPI option. They contain some option which enable the user with some option and having the the solution of your problem. Go to the BIOS for the suspended ACPI option and look for the S1, S2, S3, and change them and see that it is working or not. That it i know this about the same. Hope that this will help you. Thanks
