Volume change automatically during ichat

Hey,

I am using the MAC OS X for the my desktop from last 1 year and having no problem, but from last 1 week i am facing the problem with the ichat and the issue is that volume of the ichat decreases automatically without any specification. So i don't understand the cause of the same. Can any one help me with that. Please help me because i feel like disconnected from the world.

Hi there,

I will suggest you that do the following thing to see if it is working or not. It works for me when i have the same problem with ichat 3 and did the same to work my PC. Delete the com.apple.AudioDevices.Settings.plist and trying the new one in the Audio Folder in /Library/Preferences. See that it work for you or not. Hope you will be satisfied with the same.

I don't understand that why your ichat is not responding with the voice because i am having the same problem and i just restarted the same and my issue got solve. I Have restarted and tried again if not then do that first and then try and if it is not working fine there must be something wrong with your ichat so download the latest one and install it again.

To solve the your issue do the following:

• Click on the System Preferences
• And the go to the Quicktime after that Streaming and change the speed to 1.5Mbps
• Now restart the ichat and see the speed
• If is is changed then set the bandwidth to 500 kbps
• Check the Slider
• Check the ichat preference and see that microphone is same as input
