Re: Random connection of usb key gives Bluescreen of death

If you think the problem comes from an update you can try to uninstall:

To remove an update:

1. Open Installed Updates by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then, under Programs and Features, clicking View installed updates.
2. Click the update that you want to remove, and then click Uninstall. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Otherwise, is your BIOS updated? It does that with a single USB key? This USB key works on other pc?

Re: Random connection of usb key gives Bluescreen of death

The USB key works on another machine and yes, I have the latest bios for my motherboard (ASUS P6T Deluxe). On blue screen I have "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION" with same error codes. How to fully uninstall the intel chipset drivers (usb etc ...) in order to properly reinstall the same? (I have the latest ones, so impossible to consider an update for the moment).

In the device manager -> right click on it -> Uninstall

I had these problems too, but it was due to the Try & Decide in Acronis True Image 2009 which was incompatible with Windows 7. After uninstalling, everything started as normal.
