Send fax through keyboard in Mac OS.

Hey ,

I having a small query about the sending fax through the keyboard in Mac OS. I am using the Mac operating system which i am running form past one year. But now i want to use functionality if the sending fax through the keyboard to the selected contact from my computer. So suggest me the solution of the same. And also let me know if there is any third party software is available to do the same.

If i am not wrong then you are using the Mac operating system as you stated in your post above. It has the built in facility i.e. dial-up fax modem, so you don't need to fax machine to your system. All you need is the telephonic connection for the same. So connect your phone connection to the modem and send it through any printing facility. That all i can help you. Hope this will work for you.

Just click on the file which you want to send and select the file command for printing. now hit the PDF and select the FAX PDF. Now type the fax number in the field available in front of the "To" and select the internet mode in the Modem Box. One more thing if you want to design the cover page of the fax then click on the option use cover page and write the subject and the message. Now all is ready to sent so click on the preview to see whether that format display as you desire and click on the send button.

Hi there,

The apple have made some change in the for sending the fax through in Mac OS. All you have to do is just click on the Print from the file menu and hit the Fax which is placed near the print dialog box. The user can also send through the PDF button by selecting the pop up menu. Hope it will help you.
