Unable to see the files which are not hidden

Hi, I am getting a problem which is quiet complicated. Currently whenever I open my computer drive, it shows me that there is no folder and nothing. But when I check for properties it gives me size of the drive with 35 GB of full. That means my all data is present in the drive, So, is there any reason due to which I am not able to view the data of drive. Please, help me to get my all data from my hard drive.

I think the problem you are getting is due to the registry hack. You need to follow the following procedure to come out of this problem and get the all data back.

    1- Open the Comand Prompt
    2- Type: taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
    3- Check archives in C: a1.bat and autorun.inf Dir /ah
    4- Change attributes atrrib -h -r -s a1.bat and atrrib -h -r -s autorun.inf
5- Delete this files by using del a1.bat del autorun.inf
6- Now just change setting of the hidden folders as we do usually.
    7- Done.

Hi, the problem you are facing is due to the virus problem. Just make use of the Antivirus such as Avast Home Edition and or Mcafee Antivirus by taking updates of it. And then scan your whole computer so that you wont get any problem. This scanning will remove all the viruses from your computer and then make your computer restart one time. Then just show all hidden files from tools and then you can make them unhidden. So, do this and solve your problem.

Hello, you are getting the problem due to the all files of your computer got hidden. So you need to follow the following things to solve the problem:

    • Click on the Start >> run.
    • Type in regedit in the box and click OK.
    • Now navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\*Explorer\Advanced.
    • Right-click on Hidden and select Modify.
    • Change the value to 1 and click OK.
    • Done.

I think this will solve your problem. After doing the steps above just scan your whole system with updated antivirus program and then restart the system.
