Getting error in the WEI while score refreshing over windows 7

Hi,

I am currently using Windows 7 operating system. Recently I have installed
"Power colour 4670 1Gb" graphics card.

Then I did rebooting of my system and then I checked WEI score. Then I got message that you will need to refresh the WEI score ,I did this but after this I got error telling that "Windows Assessment Tool has completely stopped working". I am not familiar with this unknown error.

How can I avoid this error while refreshing the WEI score?

Hi friend,

You are getting error because the device driver of your system is not compatible with windows 7 OS.

I recommend you to first remove your device driver then reinstall it, procedure to reinstall driver is as follows:

A. Open search box then you write "devmgmt.msc" inside the Search box and then hit Enter button.
B. Then you have to expand "Display Adapters" option.
C. Then make right click over video card and then select uninstall option.
D. Then you have to search check box which telling "Delete driver software for this device" and then hit OK button.
E. Finally you have to restart the your system.

*. Usually this kind of error is related to the compatibility your system's motherboard. you may try to do the updation of the chipset as well as the BIOS

*. Have you tested this error in the Clean Boot mode? If not then please try it also. If you gets error in this mode also then try the same in the built-in admin account.

I think it is definitely the problem of the video card , and to if you want to repair the corrupted files which may causes this error please do the following things:

1. You will need to start the PC using the current OS

2. Then Insert the Windows 7 OS DVD .

3. When will you reach the option of "Which type of installation do you want?" then you will need to select the Upgrade option.

Please try this on your system.
