application failed to intialize properly 0cx0150002

I finding it difficult to solve this problem. Please help me to fix this error. I'm getting this error "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002) " I'm getting this error while executing the program with opencv

This is possibly because the file is been corrupt and needs to replaced wit ha new one. Execute the Operating systems disc and select the option to repair and upgrade. This should solve the error.

This error comes when you do one of the following thing:
1.If your computer has Microsoft office 2003 and windows xp sp1.
2.If you had upgrade from Windows xp-home to Windows XP Professional.
3.If you had re-install windows xp.
4.If you had repair Windows XP.

You can fix this problem by re-installing windows XP SP1.

Hi there,

I will suggest you to check your firewall settings, because some time firewall restrict the user from running the application. And one more thing make sure Active sync is allowed to run. If it is not then allow it and then try again.
