Error Code "0x8ac70013" from windows 7

Hi,

Form couple of days I am getting unknown error saying ""Messenger is not available right now , please try again " with error code "0x8ac70013".

I am using windows 7 OS on my computer. I get this error while establishing audio and video call from the application called "Windows Live Messenger".

I searched on many web site, but didn't get the solution.

Anybody aware about this error?

Hello friend,

I was also getting this error message while establishing the audio/video call through messenger.

The solution to avoid this error is that, you have to disable "VMnet8" as well as "VMnet1" from the "VMWare 6.5.2". And after the disabling of the these two restart the "Live Messenger".

This method is worked for me ,and it should work for you also.

I recommend you to follow below steps for this help on the error of the window 7:

A. Open your internet browser

B. Open this link http://support.live.com/

C. Then you should Click on the "Windows Live Messenger" option.

D. Then select version of Windows Live Messenger you using.

E. After this select one topic from given list.

F. Then choose “Get more help” from the right part of web the page.

G. Select Get support option

H. Finally "Submit" the form.

Hi,

This type of error code i.e "0x8ac70013" is related to the video calling issues of the messenger. The root cause of this error is the "VMWARE Workstation 6.5.3". I took help of my friend ,he gave me advice to disable the network bridge known as "VMnet8 and VMnet1 ". I followed this instruction and now I am not getting "0x8ac70013" error and I am able to make video and audio calls.

Hello, I found this link on google while searching on the error (0x8ac70013).

I don't have firewall, any anti-virus or mcafee installed on my XP Pro computer.
I don't run my Xp virtually but on my Pentium machine.

I get this error while establishing audio call from "Windows Live Messenger".

Did u solve the problem?
