Re: System Image Backup Problem In Windows 7

Hi, I am not able to get your problem exactly. You told that you have gave up backup on the external hardware and you are getting error message : failure to create image file for Drives L & E. Means actually what error you are getting for these drives. Have you copied all the data to your external hardware or you are getting the problem to copied it. Please, explain your problem in details. Just elaborate it and then again post it. I am not getting your problem.

Re: System Image Backup Problem In Windows 7

Hi, your are getting the problem of System Image Backup Problem In Windows 7 due to the FAT32 system file format, I think. Just make use of the following command to convert your fat file system to NTFS and then just check whether the same problem is occuring or not. I think this command will solve your problme. Just try to do it. Run this command on command prompt.

CONVERT G: /FS:NTFS

Re: System Image Backup Problem In Windows 7

HI, you are facing the same problem as me, when I am doing the same thing as you. This is not that much big problem. You just need to use the following command to take backup of the system images of your drives. I had done this and think that you also able to do the same. This command will convert your FAT32 system file structure to the NTFS file format and you will able to do the same as I have done. Just run command prompt with Administrator and then run the following command.

CONVERT G: /FS:NTFS
