Domain Account Lock Out Problem in Win 7

Hi, One of my fried had recently installed the Windows 7 operating system and getting currently the problem of Domain Account lock out. I have seen same issue with many of my friends but no one has the solution regarding this. When my friend connected his machine to the domain before two days, and doing some tests, his account got locked out several times. His domain account keeps getting locked out. So, if anyone has solution, please provide me. Else I think my friend will need to move to the vista return back. So, provide solution as soon as possible. So, he need not to install the Vista return back.

Re: Domain Account Lock Out Problem in Win 7

Hi, your friend is getting error which is 0xc0000234 error which refers to
STATUS_ACCOUNT_LOCKED_OUT. In this error user account has been locked due to the invalid logon attempts or password change attempts had done many times. You can run LockoutStatus.exe on domain controller to know the account lockout issue.
To solve this issue you need to use the tools which will help you to get information about the specified user account including the domain admin's account from all the domain controllers in the domain. It also gives you badPwdCount value on each domain controller. So you need to download LockoutStatus.exe

Steps to resolve the problem:
  • Click Start, click Run, type "control userpasswords2" and then click OK.
  • Click the Advanced tab.
  • Click the "Manage Password" button.
  • Check to see if these domain account's passwords are cached. If so, remove them.
  • Now just check whether your problem has been solved or not.

Hi, I don't know the problem you are talking about as I don't have installed windows 7 at my computer. So, I don't think the problem you are getting will be resolved by me. But, I will search for same on internet and let you know the exact reason about this and solution about the problem. So, just wait for some time and I will come with the solution about your problem. So, just think if your getting problem solved or not. If not then also Ok, I will solve it within few days.
