| Re: Windows XP 64-bit supported by Bootcamp?
I think Windows XP 64bit should work on Mac, but you will need to install Mac OS X 10.6 that is Snow Leopard, As snow leopard has 64bit kernel support, windows 64bit might work, but i'm not sure about that. | Re: Windows XP 64-bit supported by Bootcamp?
As mentioned on bootcamp help page : 64-bit versions of Windows XP are not supported using Boot Camp. 64-bit versions of Windows Vista are supported on some Intel-based Macintosh computers using Boot Camp 2.0 or later. These Mac computers can use 64-bit editions of Windows Vista: * MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009) * MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2008) and later * MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2008) and later * Mac Pro (Early 2008) and later |
