Go to Start, Run and type: eventvwr and press Enter. Event Viewer windows opens up. In the Event Viewer, expand Windows Logs and then click Applications. On the right side, look for any Error messages with a Red Icon. Double click on the error message and check to see that it is from the same source (i.e.: maya.exe). At the bottom of that dialog box, click the Copy Button and paste the results in a reply to this post.

AppCrash can occur due to virus resulting from regular installation and un-installations of many programs. The problem come from kernel32.dll, seem to be a serious problem. This creates many unwanted, invalid, or hateful entries resulting to appcrash. Did you try to update the firmware of that drive? Registry slows down, machines perform at a slower rate, and applications don’t work as required.

You can try to take a look at these tutorial from autodesk - http://area.autodesk.com/tutorials/m...howcase_part_2. You can also try to right clicking on the launch icon and choose run as administrator. You can also try to update the video driver on your computer that could resolve this issue.

    Hi arihantjain26662,

The error that you are getting might be related to the graphics card that you have installed in your maching. The same video card is not supported for Maya application and hence you are getting those errors. Can you please let us know what is your whole computer specifications? Thanks
