    Black screen after progress bar

    Hello, whenever I start my pc I have a black screen that appears after the progress bar of windows bootup I have windows vista.

    If someone has a solution please provide me thank you in advance.

    Try the repair installation with installation DVD of Vista?

    Hello, thank you for helping me I used the cd Vista_Recovery_Disc (i had to burn a iso file on cd), I managed to run a restore at a later date but after an hour there was no result (no hard disk activity but the progress bar was active) so I shut down my pc. Since no access possible with or without cd menu despite the loading of files that occurs but later I get this black screen. help ?

    Even if your facility Vista has a problem, it should not prevent you from booting the CD.

    Try testing your memory with Memtest86. tell us if it detects errors.

    You burned DVD by yourself? may be its not the proper DVD, you should always used the one provided by manufacturer. You can try to boot with Linux Live CD and make backup of all your data. And perform the complete format with vista installation cd. Otherwise, for the relocation of the factory settings what is the brand of your PC? Once your data is retrieved, then you start restoring the factory settings for your pc (F11 at start, I think).
