    Cannot See text in Counter Strike on Ubuntu 9.04

    Hey guys, I managed to install Counter-Strike on Ubuntu 9.04. But the problem is after i typed in the cd key, i cannot see any texts in it. However if i hover mouse over that area, i can see the text but i can hear the sound which comes when we focus on the text. Can anyone help me with this issue? I Cannot See text in Counter Strike on Ubuntu 9.04. Can anyone help me? Thanks

    You have to install Microsoft core-fonts on Ubuntu before you can read this. You can find this is wine setup topic. See these threads :

    Open Terminal and make sure you are connected to internet. In terminal type :
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer
    It will install the necessary fonts. Then start the game, can you read the texts now? All the best...
