Right now I have 8gb mem, but I am reinstalling with 4gb mem Do I keep the same settings in the Bios? Before doing the reinstall? One thing is that GSkill wants me to install th 4gb mem in slots 2 and 4 instead of slots 1 and 3. does this sound right to you |

| Re: Clean Reinstall
Vista monitors your usage and gets faster based on the collected statistics. When you reinstall, you wipe out this information so it cannot help. You also wipe out all of the search indexes and boot-time optimizations. You will have to assure that the boot order in the BIOS is set to CD/DVD drive. To enter the BIOS, you should tap either "F1", "F8" or "Delete", key. You can check out the following link. It may provide you more information on the above issue. |
