Mouse moves in slow motion in VMware

Hello friends, I have a problem and i don't know what is causing it. I have installed Ubuntu 9.04 in a Virtual PC and it took a hell lot of time to install. Now when i start it, The mouse is too laggy and i feel its not worth the try. I have installed VMware in Windows XP. Mouse moves in slow motion in VMware for Ubuntu 9.04 and i think i should delete it. Can anyone help me fix it?

What is your system configuration? And what configuration have you assigned to the Ubuntu 9.04 virtual machine? I think you have assigned less amount of memory then what is required. check if the configuration assigned for Ubuntu 9.04 is not less then what should be assigned. Post back...

I have a computer with Intel Core2Duo 2.66Ghz processor, 1GB RAM. I have assigned 256MB RAM to the Ubuntu virtual machine. I think 256 is enough ram for a linux OS. Can it be something else? Please advice...

Ubuntu 9.04 needs 512MB memory and you have assigned 256MB, but still it is working. Well you need to upgrade the RAM, then may be its possible to improve the system performance...
