Please check in any additional device is plugged in to your machine via USb interface? I have seen it casing problem while installing windows 7.
Can you let us know about your hardware specifications?
How you got your windows 7 DVD? I downloaded the iso for the Windows 7 Ultimate x64 RTM via the MSDN, and have had nothing but trouble installing it.

Have you tried removing your installation media (Windows 7 DVD / USB) when it first starts again after the first screen, install and see what happens? In my case. I calculated what the problem was. I have 2 ports for my video card and for my tablet, I had both in use. Apparently this messes up 7 when it tries to end the installation. I just unhooked and it worked just fine.

While burning a new copy at a slower speed. I just noticed that I have blank DVDs DVD + R, which would make any difference? I've used them before and they've worked fine, but it 's a while. I don 't really keep up much with that sort of thing. I'm thinking it probably wouldn't make much of a difference, but I suppose it's possible. Where are you win your 7 images of how you downloaded them? how you burn them? What application you used to burn them? drag-and-drop files and folders or just burn the ISO?
