Windows 64bit blue screen?

Hey guys im new to the forum with a similar problem that i have found on here.

I have a RTM version of windows 7 64bit that I have been trying to install on my computer for the past two weeks with no luck. I get to expanding files and i get a bsod. Ive been searching and searching for a solution for the problem. The bsod can be one of two that i get one tells me to turn memory shadowing off, which i have no idea what that is on my bios, and the other one says its a hd problem?

system specs
asus m3n hd hdmi mobo
amd 9600+ quad core am2+ processor
700 watt abs psu
two evga 9800 gt video cards
8gigs of gskill ddr2 800 mhz ram (recently rma'd)
two 500 gig sata hds
0ne 30 gig ide drive

So this is what i have done after many hours of searching and trouble shooting when none of it has worked yet.

I removed all my ram but one stick, I have set my clock speeds and voltage on my ram to gskills recomended settings, i have cleaned out the registry errors, tried installing it on a different hd, installed latest bios and video card drivers even installed the 64 bit drivers. Did a mem test with each stick of ram in each slot seperatly passed after 15 hrs of testing ram. I have run out of ideas my ram is good and all my slots check out changed hd's, cleaned out my registry and done so much but can not seem to get rid of the problem.

I have actually called asus and gskill, calling asus is a freakin joke! Seriously they say its my ram and that the board does not support the ram, they tell me to call gskill and ask them about the problem, i call gskill and they say that the ram is compatable with the board and there is a problem with the board, instruct me to call asus back and have my board RMA'd. I called asus back they say "NO ITS THE RAM" and hang up on me? Im never going to buy a product from them again just for the fact that their customer service is garbage and they treat their customers with no respect.

Enough about that, lol! if any one has some more things i can try before i buy a new board the help would be greatly appreciated since i like the board for the fact i can run my hd tv on it in 1080p lol through the onboard HDMI cable. so any help is good help.

Thanks
Mitch

Can you boot into Safe mode?

DO you get any error message on bsod? It will help us to know possible culprit.

Re: Windows 64bit blue screen?

Boot your system and click on Start. Type devmgmt.msc in the search box. Press enter and in the window go under Sound, video and game controllers. Then right click on the Sound card and choose properties. Disable it. Use the same method for other hardware like your graphic card, modem, network adapter, DVD drive, etc. After doing each restart your system and check. In this way you can find out which hardware is causing the problem in your operating system. Though a long process but very effective.

Hello , you Can Check the similar Thread here

During Expanding files , it copies files , If files in any way are corrupt (due to burn speed/write error) then it can produce various Bsod Error
