    opensolaris vs ubuntu

    Can any one tell me the difference between opensolaris and ubuntu operating system. What are the different command use in ubuntu and how ubuntu is differ from opensolaris? Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

    Just like most Linux distributions, OpenSolaris comes with a live CD, OpenSolaris is a collection of different projects and source bases or“consolidations” make up the Solaris operating system.Ubuntu comes installed with a wide range of software that includes OpenOffice, Firefox, Pidgin, Transmission, GIMP, and several lightweight games (such as Sudoku and chess).
