Windows boots automatically on iMac

I have an iMac and i have installed windows from bootcamp. But i have this problem, i use windows only one time out of 5 times so i want OS X to boot by default, but in my case Windows boots automatically on iMac. Can anyone tell me how to boot in OS X? Please help...

During boot, before windows or any OS boot, hold Alt key. This will give you the choice to select which operating system you want to boot into. Did you configure your hard disk drives properly? Check in System preferences. Hope this helps...

This is what i do, but i don't want my iMac to by default boot into Windows. Instead it should by default boot into mac if i dont select which OS to boot. Is this possible? Holding down Alt everytime is very frustrating. Please help me out...

You have to select the default hard disk [partition] from which you have to boot by default. Try this out, may be this is what you need : System Preference > Startup Disk > Select Mac OS X Hard Disk and press Enter
