Virus like activity on Mac

I have been experiencing virus like activity on Mac. At startup, my mac plays some music and i dont know how to shut it down. I cannot find the file or any music software running and also iTunes is not running. I feel this is a virus. Is it possible that virus have been made for mac os x and this is the virus which is trying to play around with me...? Please help...

Virus? In a Mac? Lol. I have to laugh on that one. Well there are no known viruses for Mac, but to make sure you can use antivirus softwares that are available for Mac like calmAV, Norton Antivirus for Mac. See if those helps you...

Start your Mac then check if the song is listed in the start up list, remove it from the list. This may be done by someone to just scare you. Also if nothing helps, try to boot in safe mode. Also try creating a new standard or administrative account, and see if this problem is solved.

Ok, try those above stuffs, which is recommended by me too. Also if those things doesn't help, start your man and open Activity Monitor. See there which processes are running. Kill the process which is not necessary or which process you feel is doing this. Hope this helps...
