Go to: C \ windows \ inf, right-click and install dfrg.inf. The inf file is a hidden file, so go into control panel, folder options, view tab, check: Show hidden files and folders, apply and OK.
Did you try running CHKDSK ? Did you try running DEFRAG in the SAFE MODE ? To solve the problem Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer > Navigate to the "windows\inf" folder and locate the file named "dfrg.inf" > Right-click on the "dfrg.inf" file and click "Install".
This issue occurs only on highly fragmented NTFS volumes whose Master File Table (MFT) is also highly fragmented. Go to Start > All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. At the command prompt type, cd \windows\system32 And then register the defrag components, by typing: regsvr32 dfrgsnap.dll, regsvr32 dfrgui.dll (Make sure you make a backup of your system registry before making any changes to it).
There are many possible solution:
1. TUrn on your page file.
2. Re-register the defragmenters snap-in files
3. Check if you have enough free space
4. Run Chkdsk
5. Check if you have appropriate services running
6. use third party software
7. Reformat
