Windows upate location (XP)

Ok guys, so i read somewhere that windows uses the biggest disk drive available for temporary storage of updates. This place happens to be my 500GB external drive and its a pain because it won't let me delete them, it just says access denied.

Anyone know of any solution, whether it be changing the download location or just how to delete them?

Download Unlocker. It will let you release file handling lock which may keep the file from deleting. This is a very tiny and useful software. Hope this helps...
