Error loading operating system on Restart pc

I switched on my computer one day and foung this msg

"error loading operating system"

I have tried everything, so just answer my query

Given that hard disks are okay, is it possible to fit a different hard disk on which xp is installed in that cpu and then try to retrieve all the data from the previous drive by attaching it to cpu?

This issue may occur if your computer BIOS does not correctly manage or support the capacity of the hard disk on which you are installing Windows XP. check here for some solution by Microsoft
