Stop Error 0x1000007e in Windows Vista

My HP computer is running Windows Vista is giving me stop error 0x1000007e on shut down. This appears after the dialog box stating "windows is shutting down" comes up. My computer is up-to-date and virus free. I have verified my drivers in Device Manager, and everything was OK. Can you help me how to get rid of this 0x1000007e error message?

The SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M bug check has a value of 0x1000007E. This indicates that a system thread generated an exception which the error handler did not catch. Bug check 0x1000007E has the same meaning and parameters as bug check 0x7E (SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED). Basic troubleshooting techniques include:
    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video adapters.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates.
    • Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.

It seems to be some problem with your NTUser.Dat file. It could also be the problem of Sound drivers. Also try updating the driver, or uninstall the antivirus and use a different security product. A faulty device driver or system service might be responsible for this error. Hardware issues, such as BIOS incompatibilities, memory conflicts, and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

I think the RAM module is faulty. Try using some different RAM and see if this clears up. If you have tweaked your BIOS then set it to the defaults and then check if things are solved. Can you elaborate on the message that comes up along with that error message? It will help to fix the problem.
