Fedora 11 says Not enough memory

Sponsored Links
I have a linux box with Ubuntu 9.04 and i want to install fedora. I have not used fedora since a real long time and i think that is the reason fedora is upset with me. I have 2 GB RAM but still when i try to install it from a Fedora DVD, it tells me :
Code:
Not enough memory to load specified image
boot:
2GB RAM is enough for any OS till date i would say but still this message? Fedora seems to be really upset with me... Any help guys?

Lolz!!
May be you have a DVD which has a lot of scratches..? Or the ISO that you used to burn the DVD is corrupt. Run MD5 checksum to verify the ISO is fine. Well you can try to install the softwares from the CDs and see if that gets your machine to work with fedora? Do Post back...

Re: Fedora 11 says Not enough memory

I also have the Installation on the set of CDs But boths tell me the same, not enough memory. I think Fedora does not want to install on my machine and has become my enemy. Well i think there is some hardware which may not be supporting the current kernel. Can anyone suggest which hardware is cable of causing such problems? I have 2 GB memory and i have confirmed that it is more then enough....

Re: Fedora 11 says Not enough memory

Problem Solved. While i was typing the previous post i tried to remove my graphic card and my fedora installation started. The new kernel may not be supporting my Ati graphics cards. Will install the graphics card when i find some kernel update fix or a driver for it. Thanks for reading.
