OpenOffice impress slide show with twinview on Ubuntu

I have a linux box with Ubuntu 9.04 installed. I have openoffice 2.3.1 installed but i don't know how to use OpenOffice impress slide show with twinview on Ubuntu for second monitor. Can anyone tell me how to display the presentation on the second screen? I have dual monitor and i need to show the slide show on the other screen. Please help...

Its quite easy to set this up but your display card and driver must support dual monitors. From OpenOffice Select Slide show menu and go to Slide Show settings > Select the screen on which you want to display the slide show. Hope this helps...

Thanks for the reply. I did as posted in the above reply. This now shows the slide show on the second display as i selected, but the slide show is display only half. Half of the part from left hand side is blank and it looks like the display has shifted to the right side. Now how am i suppose to solve this problem? Please help for the same... Thanks

Have you configured your X11 server? Well it seems that X server is either not configured properly or the drivers are not supporting the dual view. I suggest you to first try and configure the X11 server and then if that doesn't help download the latest drivers for your display card... You can post back if you still have any problems...
