Is it happening only with the Mobile internet connection or even if with anyother internet connection? Internet connections that is GRPS disconnects when there is GSM data flowing inwards or outwards. This means a disconnection is possible if you get a call or a message. Check this is not your case. Well i know that if i get a call or message the GPRS data is interrupted and if the duration is long it may disconnect. But this is not my case. I don't understand what goes wrong. Well i don't have any other internet connection to check it nor a local area network. So i don't know about any other internet connection. Can anyone help me with this?

Re: Network manager Crashing on Ubuntu

Whenever you experience this problem simply try to restart the Network Manager, that might get the internet connection work again, but you will need to connect again. The command is :

    To view the status :
    Code:
    sudo /etc/init.d/NetworkManager status
    To start :
    Code:
    sudo /etc/init.d/NetworkManager start
    To stop :
    Code:
    sudo /etc/init.d/NetworkManager stop
    To restart :
    Code:
    sudo /etc/init.d/NetworkManager restart
    To force restart :
    Code:
    sudo /etc/init.d/NetworkManager force-reload
    Hope these commands help you...
